Hamilton Crossing Elementary School was formed in 1985 from half of what was known as the Cass Primary and Cass Elementary Schools. The school was built in the mid-1950's with an addition added in 1975 that now houses the Media Center and the 2nd-grade classrooms. In 1995 another new wing was added that includes 5 classrooms, Art, Music, and the Gym. Then again in 1997 another new wing was added that houses the computer lab and four 1st grade classrooms. In 2014 six new classrooms were built to extend from the 2nd-grade hall and now houses the 3rd grade and 4 new classrooms were built to extend from the 1st-grade hall where you can find speech and ESOL. The office area was also redone in 2014.
